The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) sent an entire battalion to hold an action at the Konstantinovka Cultural Center (DPR) with flags bearing photos of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and former head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky. This was announced on July 29 by the deputy battalion commander of the 4th separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces with the call sign Rebit.

"Regarding this action, which the Security guards held, that flags were waved at the House of Culture, on which photos of Zelensky and Syrsky were pasted. The enemy put a lot of effort into getting people there. <...> An entire battalion was spent on this action," the military said.

In addition, the soldier of the Russian Army noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants could not pass unnoticed to the building and the Russian troops knew about their presence. He also stressed the incompetence of the Ukrainian commanders.

Rabit said that civilians warmly welcomed Russian soldiers at all positions and "even shared the last ones if necessary." The military officer shared that the Russian Army is making every effort to remove civilians from the combat zone, despite the opposition of the Ukrainian militants.

Anton Gavrishev, commander of the assault platoon of the 110th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Center group of forces, said on July 28 that the Ukrainian military, during the battles for the village of Belitskoye in the DPR, simulated surrender in order to open fire on Russian forces, but were eliminated in the stronghold with the help of anti-tank mines.
