According to the Siberian Generating Company (SGC), the damage occurred during hydraulic tests of heating systems. After the accident was detected, the water supply was promptly cut off.

Currently, specialists are preparing to start repair work. There was no information about casualties or traffic restrictions. The SGC stressed that hydraulic tests are carried out to identify weak sections of pipelines before the start of the heating season.
