One person was killed and dozens injured due to the hurricane in the Rostov region.

In the Rostov region, as a result of a powerful hurricane, one person was killed and 28 others were injured. This was reported on July 26 by a source of Izvestia.

"A strong wind hit the region on the night of July 26. The bad weather toppled dozens of trees, damaged roofs of houses and cars, and also led to power line breaks," the source said.

According to the source, two children are among the victims. 11 people, including one child, were hospitalized in medical institutions. Another 16 citizens received the necessary outpatient care.

Currently, emergency services continue to work to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster in the affected settlements.
