- A school for 1,100 students will be built in Barnaul according to the national program of United Russia
The construction of a new school for 1,100 students continues in Barnaul. The facility is being built as part of the people's program of the United Russia Party and the national Youth and Children project. This was announced on July 23 on the website of the party's press service.
Maria Lvova-Belova, the Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, checked the progress of construction.
"They plan to open the school in 2027, and the children will have the opportunity to study close to home. It will also reduce the burden on neighboring educational institutions," Maria Lvova-Belova said.
The new school has a swimming pool, a sports hall, modern classrooms and public spaces. The design of the lobby will be made using the symbols of the Altai Territory.
She also added that by the beginning of the new school year, two more schools will be opened after major repairs as part of the New School party project.
On July 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the importance of contributing to the upbringing of the younger generation, as it will further strengthen the whole country. Then, speaking at the Popular Front forum, "Everything for Victory! Everything for Russia!", he called the child's soul the most important thing and pointed out the importance of forming correct views among minors.
