A Russian man saved a drowning girl in a mountain river during an excursion in Turkey

Russian tourist Danil Levenko rescued a three-year-old girl from a stormy mountain stream during an excursion in the Turkish resort town of Kemer. This was announced on July 24 by a Russian in an interview with Izvestia.

According to Levenko, he was vacationing in Kemer with friends. On the recommendation of friends, the company decided to go on a 5-in-1 tour, which included boating and buggy rides, a visit to the canyon, as well as rope descent. As part of the program, tourists stopped by a mountain river to swim after a buggy ride.

According to the Russian, he went into the water and asked a friend to take a video of him. At that moment, he heard the screams of people on the shore, who waved their hands, pointing towards the water. Levenko noticed a body at his foot, which was being carried away by the current, and grabbed it. It turned out that it was a little girl about three or four years old.

The interlocutor of Izvestia stressed that the girl was on a field trip with her mom and dad. According to Levenko's friend, who filmed what was happening on camera, the mother put the child in shallow water, but the current carried the girl down, closer to the place where the Russian was. It is noted that in this place the depth of the river is much greater, and the child could have been carried to the center, where the current becomes even more dangerous due to the rapids.

"There's a mountain river there, that is, with rapids, a very fast current, and it's very cold because it's mountainous. It turns out that I went into the water, asked a friend to take a video of me, and took pictures. And when we left, a lot of people started shouting and waving their arms, and I noticed that there was a body floating at my foot. I took it out, and it turned out to be a little girl," he said.

The Russian stressed that after the rescue he gave the girl to her parents. According to him, the child was crying and screaming from extreme fright throughout the rest of the tour. The Russian also suggested that if he had not noticed the girl in time, she could have been carried away to the doorsteps, which would have led to her death. He also stressed that anyone in his place would have done the same.
