Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) can be completely cleared of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the near future. This was announced on July 24 by the acting chief of staff of the battalion of the 10th Tank Regiment of the Southern Group of Forces, an officer with the call sign Fox.
"We are successfully fighting, filtration is underway, <...> therefore, this issue is not a problem, and in the near future, Konstantinovka will be completely cleared of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers," he said.
According to him, the destruction of the remaining scattered groups of Ukrainian militants continues in the city, who are disguising themselves in civilian clothes and trying to leave the settlement along with the civilian population. The officer noted that local residents were helping the Russian fighters by reporting on places where the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hiding.
In addition, Lis said that the Russian military is continuing its offensive in the Alekseevo-Druzhkovka area. Assault units are fighting on the outskirts of the village, pushing the enemy towards the center with the support of tanks, artillery and drones.
Konstantinovka has been completely controlled by the Russian Army since July 3. Since then, the cleansing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun there and actions have been carried out to evacuate civilians.
On July 20, the commander of the 2nd battalion of the 78th separate motorized Rifle Regiment of the Southern Group of Forces with the call sign Shah said that each unit in Konstantinovka operates in its area of responsibility. The military checks every basement and house, if there are civilians in the buildings, they are taken out.
