Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are preventing the exit of civilians from the town of Konstantinovka, liberated by Russian troops in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on July 23 by the deputy commander of the unmanned systems unit of the 4th separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces with the call sign Ustye.

"The enemy snaps at the civilian population when the withdrawal is underway. There is an impact on the civilian population, and this has happened many times before. Well, he doesn't want to let the civilian population go, he doesn't want to," the soldier said.

Currently, Russian units are actively working to remove civilians from the city. Four to five drones are constantly deployed to search for people in different areas of Konstantinovka. With the help of drones, provisions, medicines, walkie-talkies and notes describing safe escape routes are delivered to residents hiding in basements and apartment buildings.

"We are searching, our drones fly diligently, they are always in the sky. We fly up there and send fiber-optic supplies, medicines, notes and walkie-talkies so that people can contact us. And we advise them, suggest ways of escape, exit from there, what paths we have. We help in every way we can," Ustye said.

The fighter stressed that Russian drone crews were covering the evacuation by destroying enemy drones and the take-off points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces drones. According to him, the use of fiber-optic technology makes it possible to effectively conduct reconnaissance in the premises and hit enemy positions, data on which is transmitted by mobile groups.
