A captured fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told about hunger fainting and lack of water in positions

Ukrainian militants on the front line are facing acute shortages of food and water, which is why they lose consciousness from hunger. A captured soldier of the 109th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) told about this on July 19. Ludwig Malakhovsky.

According to the prisoner of war, the Ukrainian soldiers were left without food and water for three days. The command delivered food only once every three days, and the ration for four consisted of two cans of stew, instant noodles, tea and sugar.

"We didn't eat for three days, there was no water at all," Malakhovsky said in an interview with RIA Novosti, adding that he fainted from hunger.

According to the captured militant, the water was taken from a nearby stream, and with the onset of frost, the snow was heated. For other means of livelihood, Ukrainian soldiers were once sent a large pack of ground coffee, which they simply chewed.

The assault regiment counted 26 dead recruits.

The Ukrainian edition of "Country.ua" reported on June 24 that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being beaten and humiliated in the training camps where the forcibly mobilized are sent. According to the newspaper, such cases more often occur in temporary accommodation facilities for conscripts before the start of the basic combined arms training course or being sent to the front.
