Naftogaz gas production facility damaged in Kharkiv region

Naftogaz's gas production facility was damaged in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on July 17 by the company's press service.

According to an official statement, an impact was recorded at the enterprise, as a result of which the work of the facility was completely stopped. Information about the victims or the occurrence of a fire is not specified in the message.

"It is impossible to determine the extent and scale of the destruction now," the press service wrote on the Telegram channel.

The company's representatives added that technical specialists will begin assessing the damage as soon as the security situation allows. No other details of the incident have been provided at the moment.

According to the data of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, published on July 4, the gas reserves currently available in Ukraine are only half of the required amount of energy for winter. It is specified that coal reserves amount to 2.2 million tons. This amount is only enough for summer and autumn.
