The Gagarin Court of Moscow did not consider the issue of reopening the criminal case against blogger Lerchek (real name — Valery Chekalin). A participant in the trial informed Izvestia about this on July 13.

According to him, the relevant petition has been registered in court, but it will be considered another day. Chekalina herself has already left the courthouse. She did not answer the journalists' questions.

The hearing on the resumption of the criminal case was supposed to take place on July 10, but did not take place. The hearing was postponed to Monday, July 13. Lawyer Lercek said that the defendant did not appear in court. It was reported that the reason for the non—appearance was treatment at the Blokhin National Research Medical Center of Oncology.
