Turkish actor Kerem Bursin, who gained worldwide fame after the release of the series "Knock on My Door," will star in a Russian film project for the first time.
The romantic film will be shot in Istanbul. For Bursin, participation in the project will be his first experience working in Russian cinema. The production process is planned to be launched in October 2026.
The plot of the 90-minute film is currently being kept secret. All that is known is that the script is based around the story of a relationship between two people whose feelings collide with life circumstances, but turn out to be stronger.
The project team is currently preparing for the filming period. The release of the tape on big screens is scheduled for February 2027.
On July 8, Art Pictures Distribution Company presented a rating of the most sought-after family projects of the National Media Group (NMG) for the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. The list is based on data on family content views on the air of the holding's TV channels, box office receipts of the Russian film distribution over the past three years, as well as the Russian rating of the series "Medialogy" for 2025-2026.
