Rapper Ligaliza was fined again for violating the procedure of a foreign agent
The Butyrsky District Court of Moscow fined 50,000 rubles to rap artist Andrei Menshikov (listed as a foreign agent by the Russian Ministry of Justice), known under the pseudonym Ligalayz. This was reported on July 8 in the Telegram channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.
The musician was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent").
"Menshikov committed an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. He was sentenced to an administrative fine of 50,000 rubles," the publication says.
The day before, the court sentenced singer Monetochka (real name Elizaveta Girdymova, recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) to 1 year in a penal colony in the case of evading the duties of a foreign agent. She was also banned from website administration for three years.
