Kravtsov reported to Putin about the record result of the Unified State Exam
On July 8, Sergey Kravtsov, the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, during a meeting with the government, informed Russian President Vladimir Putin about the record result of a graduate from Moscow on the Unified State Exam in the entire 25-year history of the exam.
The student scored the maximum 500 points based on the results of passing five subjects.
"This year we have a phenomenal result. For the first time in 25 years of the Unified State Exam, Ekaterina Malkova, a schoolgirl from Moscow, scored 500 points," TASS quoted Kravtsov as saying.
The graduate took the Russian language, specialized mathematics, chemistry, physics and computer science on the Unified State Exam, clarifies "Газета.Ru ".
On July 6, Kravtsov said that 9777 graduates were able to show the highest score of 100 points on the Unified State Exam in 2026. The head of the Ministry of Education of Russia noted that this year Russian graduates were able to demonstrate an unprecedented number of the highest results on the Unified State Exam.
On June 29, Malkova shared with Izvestia details about her training, in which she focused on lessons and additional classes with teachers at school. According to the graduate, after seeing the results, she considered what was happening a joke. Despite her penchant for the exact sciences, the most time-consuming stage for her was the preparation for a compulsory humanities subject.
