The Legend Rock Festival will be held in Moscow on August 29 and 30.
The Legend Music Rock Festival will be held in Moscow on Saturday and Sunday, August 29 and 30. The large-scale open air will bring together more than 30 bands who will perform at three venues: two stages will be erected on the street and one will be prepared in the hall of the Gorbunov Recreation Center.
For the fourth time, the event will bring together representatives of different generations and genres. For the first time, Sergey Bobunets, the leader of the Semantic Hallucinations group, who is currently experimenting with using neural networks in his work, will take part in the program.
"We can't give birth to anything for six months, like a swan, a crab and a pike. Now, with the help of artificial intelligence, you drive a track and just start trying out guitars in different styles. All the guitarists in the world are working for you at this moment," the musician said.
He added that he regularly sees audiences at concerts who grew up listening to his songs, and noted the generational continuity in rock culture.
The organizers will pay special attention to the 40th anniversary of the Sverdlovsk Rock Club. On the stage of the festival, it is planned to recreate the atmosphere of the Ural art cluster, from which the groups Nautilus Pompilius, Agatha Christie and Nastya came.
"We call the Sverdlovsk Rock Club team a team of musicians who became the founders of the first rock bands in the Urals: the Sonans group, which became the Urfin Jus group, is Alexander Pantykin, Egor Belkin with his solo project, Nastya Poleva, a wonderful pearl of Ural rock," said the founder of Agatha Christie Vadim Samoilov.
The bands Chaif, Alice, Kalinov Bridge, Seryoga and All-In-One will perform on the main stage of the Legend. The leader of the Chaif collective, Vladimir Shakhrin, emphasized that today the age of the rock music audience has significantly expanded and ranges from 14 to 65 years old.
The Picnic group is preparing a special program for the festival based on well-known compositions.
"We are preparing a festival program of, so to speak, musical business cards, so as not to scare anyone, proven songs," said band leader Edmund Shklyarsky.
Alexey Larin, Director of the Gorbunov Recreation Center, noted that the Distemper group is also among the participants. According to the organizers, the list of artists will be supplemented with new names, while the dates and venue of the event on the square near the Gorbunov Recreation Center remain unchanged.
The Ural Music Night music festival ended in Yekaterinburg on June 22. He was remembered for his loud and unexpected hits, new discoveries, and, of course, his scale. This year, almost half a million people sang their favorite compositions on the streets of the city from night to dawn.
