The United States declared the West's inability to defeat Russia

The Western states, along with their military and industrial potential, will not be able to defeat Russia in the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on July 3 by retired Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis of the American Army.

"We conclusively proved that the collective West — all of us, NATO and the rest of the country, supporting in excess of the Alliance, including USA, UK, Germany, France and Poland — with all of our weapons, ammunition and industrial potential is not able to defeat Russia," said Davis, a video published on the YouTube channel.

According to the expert, the failures of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) in trying to turn the situation in its favor were obvious even at an early stage of the confrontation. Davis stressed that the Russian side is acting extremely cautiously and avoiding unnecessary risks, but even this approach demonstrates the impossibility of stopping the advance of troops.

He recalled that Western states had already tried to throw back Russian military personnel in 2023, but had failed.

American political scientist Garland Nixon said on July 4 that the West lacks the political, economic and military resources necessary to support the Kiev regime, while Russia is showing success at the front. In his opinion, NATO countries are taking new steps against the backdrop of Ukraine's deteriorating situation on the battlefield, but this does not change the overall dynamics of the conflict.
