More than 5 million Max users have enabled notifications on iOS

More than 5 million users of the Maks messenger on iOS devices are once again receiving push notifications thanks to the mobile web version of the service. This was announced on July 3 by the press service of the platform.

"At the beginning of July, 5.3 million iOS users use the mobile web version of the app," representatives of the messenger said.

The company noted that iPhone users have the option to set up notifications via the web version of the service, which can be installed on the device's home screen. To do this, open the Max website in the Safari browser, add it to the Home screen, then log in to the service and allow notifications.

When you click on the notification, the system will automatically open the installed application, and if it is not on the device, it will redirect the user to the web version.

Machine learning technologies have been introduced in the new product to improve call quality.

On June 11, testing of the channel comments feature began in the Maks messenger. It was noted that the corresponding functionality will be available to users in the near future. Users will be able to reply to each other in the comments section, as well as see the number of messages left without going to the section itself.
