The farewell to two-time Olympic figure skating champion Artur Dmitriev is scheduled to take place on July 4 in St. Petersburg. This was announced on July 1 by his former partner, Olympic champion Oksana Kazakova.

"The provisional date of the farewell is Saturday. The final approvals with the Serafimovsky cemetery are underway," she told TASS.

It is specified that the final information about the farewell ceremony will appear by the evening of July 2. Kazakova added that the athlete's body had not yet been delivered from Moscow.

Artur Dmitriev entered the history of figure skating as the first athlete to win the Olympic Games with different partners. In 1992, he became Olympic champion with Natalia Mishkutenok, and in 1998 — with Kazakova.
