The court sentenced a resident of Sevastopol to 16 years in a penal colony for cooperation with the military intelligence of Ukraine. This was announced on June 30 by the Office of the FSB of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

"The court <...> found the defendant guilty of the charges and sentenced her to 16 years in prison to be served in a general regime penal colony <...> and a fine of 200,000 rubles," the statement said.

According to the agency, the woman provided the Ukrainian special services with information about the deployment of personnel and military equipment of the Russian Army, as well as photos of ships of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol Bay, which were later used by Ukrainian militants to plan missile attacks. In addition, while working as a chef, she harbored intentions to poison the special operation soldiers.

Three residents of the Tomsk region, who spied on Russian military personnel in favor of the special services of Ukraine, were charged with treason on June 26. It was noted that the attackers, having colluded with the Ukrainian side, collected information for it about soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, including those who died during their military operations.
