Mishustin appointed new Russian trade representative in Cuba

Vakhtang Mosashvili has been appointed Russia's new trade representative in Cuba. The corresponding decree was signed on June 29 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"Appoint Mosashvili Vakhtang Vyacheslavovich as the trade representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cuba," the document says on the portal of the official publication of legal acts.

In addition, by another order, Mishustin dismissed Sergey Baldin, Russia's trade representative in Cuba.

On June 14, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov announced that Russia plans to supply food to Cuba — it will be implemented within the framework of the UN World Food Program. In addition, he spoke about industrial development cooperation: the Russian side is supporting the modernization of the local fertilizer and agricultural machinery production sector.
