The Central Bank announced the release of a commemorative silver coin with the image of VDNH

On June 30, 2026, the Central Bank of Russia will issue a commemorative silver coin with a face value of 25 rubles, dedicated to the exhibition complex "Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy" (VDNH) in Moscow. This was announced on June 29 on the website of the regulator's press service.

"Today, VDNKh is the world's largest exhibition, museum and recreational complex, with 49 cultural heritage sites," the regulator said in a statement.

The coin will be released as part of the "Monuments of Architecture of Russia" series. On the front side there is a relief image of the state emblem of the Russian Federation, as well as the inscriptions "Russian Federation", "Bank of Russia", face value "25 rubles" and year of issue "2026".

The reverse side of the coin depicts the arch of the Main Entrance of VDNH with a gilded sculptural composition "Tractor driver and collective farmer" against a background of clouds made using laser matting technology. Pavilion No. 1 "Central" is also depicted in the background.

In the lower part there are inscriptions "VDNKH" in a decorative cartouche surrounded by ears of wheat, and around the circumference — "Exhibition of achievements of the national economy."

The coin will have a circulation of 1,000 copies. The Bank of Russia clarified that the coin is a legal means of cash payment on the territory of the Russian Federation and is required to be accepted at face value without restrictions.

Starting from June 5, 2026, the Central Bank of Russia introduced a commemorative coin of the Russian Federation series dedicated to the Chuvash Republic. It was noted that the coin has a combined design and consists of a disk and an outer ring. The diameter of the product is 27 mm. There is a protruding edge around the circumference of the front and back sides.
