Air defense destroyed 209 Ukrainian drones at night

On the night of June 29, Russia's air defense systems on duty repelled a massive attack by Ukrainian drones on Russian regions. A total of 209 drones were intercepted and destroyed. All the details are in the Izvestia article.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of June 28-29, the air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 209 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs. Combat work was carried out during the night, drones were eliminated over 12 regions of Russia, as well as over the waters of Crimea.

Geography of UAV destruction

The drones were shot down over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Rostov, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions, as well as over the Krasnodar Territory, the Moscow Region and the Republic of Crimea. In addition, drones were destroyed over the Azov and Black Seas.

Effects of strikes in the regions

On the evening of June 28, acting head of the Bryansk region Egor Kovalchuk reported that in the village of Petryatinka, a civilian was injured as a result of a drone strike on a regular bus. The woman received shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.

In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), 15 people, including a teenager, were injured in drone attacks on the same day.
