There was a fight of deputies in the Parliament of Georgia
There was a verbal and physical altercation in the Georgian Parliament. This was reported by Ambebi on June 26.
"There was a scuffle in the Georgian parliament: recently there was a verbal and physical clash in the meeting room," the article says.
According to the newspaper, the incident occurred between representatives of the Gakharia — For Georgia party and the ruling Georgian Dream party after a speech by Georgy Sharashidze, a deputy of the opposition party.
It is clarified that as a result of the physical altercation, the parliament session was temporarily suspended.
At a meeting of the Council of Elders of Yerevan on June 23, a mass brawl took place between representatives of the ruling Civil Contract party and the opposition Mother Armenia faction. The conflict began after members of the opposition faction "Mother Armenia" accused the ruling party of violations during the pre-election period.
