More than 300 call centers with "clear vectors of cyber attacks" on a specific country, in particular on Russia, exist in the world. This was announced on June 26 by Danil Filippov, Deputy head of the investigative Department of the Russian Interior Ministry.

"Experts say that there are more than 300 call centers with clear attack vectors," TASS quoted him as saying.

On the same day, the UBK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that since the beginning of 2026, more than 500 thousand SIM cards have been seized by law enforcement agencies in the country, which were used in the interests of fraudsters. The department also noted that the maintenance of SIM boxes and the provision of SIM cards to unauthorized persons is considered assistance to fraudsters and entails liability.

Among the key innovations is a ban on registering on domestic websites using foreign mail and a restriction on the number of bank cards.

On June 12, the head of the city's online project "Call me Back" at the Moscow Department of Information Technology, Valentina Shilina, warned that one should not try to replay telephone scammers, since voice recording can be used in the future to confirm banking transactions or to deceive loved ones.
