El Al Airlines, the largest Israeli airline and the national carrier, announced the temporary suspension of flights to Moscow. This was announced on June 25 by the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

It is noted that at the moment, the carrier has canceled three flights to the Russian capital, which were scheduled for June 25, 28 and 29. According to ATOR, ticket sales may not resume until July at the earliest.

The association stressed that a temporary pause in the Israeli carrier's schedule would not affect organized tourism, as it "does not actually exist." Since June last year, tour operators and agents have been deprived of the right to sell tours and related services to Israel.

"Nevertheless, direct flights between the countries are maintained by Russian carriers," ATOR said in an interview with RBC.

Oksana Vlasenko, an expert at the OnlineTours package tour booking service, said on June 13 that in summer Russians are increasingly choosing foreign destinations that do not require a visa in advance. The priority remains countries with convenient logistics, short flights and the ability to quickly organize a vacation without unnecessary formalities.
