A captured Ukrainian Armed Forces militant told about beatings at a training camp
In the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), soldiers are beaten, the sick and disabled are sent to storm, and the commanders are not interested in their condition. This was told on June 25 by a captured Ukrainian serviceman from the 425th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Skala" Andrei Fibulevsky.
He said that he had a formal medical examination, but after discovering hepatitis C, he was mobilized anyway.
"When we were training at the training ground, those who were caught were beaten, thrown into pits, not allowed to eat, and everyone suffered because of one thing. They forced me to do push-ups and stand on my head. That's how they physically finished us off. The sick and disabled were sent to the assault anyway," said Fibulevsky.
According to him, the commanders were not interested in the condition of the soldiers, and one of the commanders committed suicide after being ordered to storm the "pensioners." Fibulevsky also noted that all his documents and cards were taken from him, he did not receive any money.
He said that the Russian military knew the route of his unit's movement and attacked with drones. He surrendered after their group was defeated by mortar fire and drone attacks.
Captured Ukrainian serviceman Dmitry Meleshko said yesterday that the Russian military helped him escape from drone attacks when he surrendered. According to him, a fighter of the Russian Armed Forces told him when to go and when to hide from drones. Meleshko also said that he was forcibly mobilized by the staff of the shopping mall, who stopped the factory bus and kicked it out onto the street. At the first position of the AFU recruits, instructors shot at their feet to make them run faster, and when the group was ambushed by shelling and drone attacks, the four of them decided to surrender.
