A veteran of the SVO told about the fighting of his company surrounded by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On June 23, Georgy Suboch, a veteran of the special military operation, shared his memories of how his company had been fighting for 21 days surrounded by Ukrainian troops in the Ugledar area of the Donetsk People's Republic.

"During the storming of the Southern dachas near Ugledar, my company was completely surrounded. Ukrainians were on all sides, and for 21 days my company fought in complete encirclement. Then with the support of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles. — Ed.) and large—caliber equipment broke through the corridor, and the guys were able to roll back to more advantageous positions," he told RIA Novosti.

In the period 2024-2025, Suboch served in the ranks of the 155th Separate Guards Kursk Marine Brigade. Despite having armor from mobilization, he voluntarily decided to go to the war zone. For his heroism, the soldier was awarded two medals "For Bravery" and the medal "For Military Distinction". At the moment, he works in the fire department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Magadan region.

In the ranks of the Pacific Fleet Marines, the fighter was directly involved in assault operations in Pavlovka, as well as in the areas of Northern and Southern dachas in the Ugledar direction.

Earlier, Vyacheslav Butko, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, cited data that 948 employees in the department had temporarily suspended their employment contracts to serve in the Ministry of Defense, and 112 people had already returned to work in the structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations after the completion of contracts.
