CNN reported on Vance's arrival in Switzerland to participate in negotiations with Iran

U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance arrived in Switzerland on June 21 to hold talks with the Iranian delegation. This is reported by CNN TV channel with reference to his office.

According to the TV channel, Vance is already in the country to participate in negotiations between representatives of the countries. Before departure, he stated that he plans to stay no more than two days.

Technical negotiations between Iran and the United States, as well as with the participation of intermediary countries, Pakistan and Qatar, are to begin in Burgenstock, Switzerland. The meeting is expected to be held in a closed format.

A day earlier, Vance confirmed that US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and businessman Jared Kushner had already arrived in Switzerland. He expressed confidence in the strength of the achieved interstate truce and in maintaining the ceasefire. An Iranian delegation has already arrived in Switzerland for the talks.
