The governor of Kuban spoke about the condition of the victims of the attack in the shopping center of Krasnodar

The condition of the victims as a result of the attack of a man with a knife on visitors to a shopping center in Krasnodar is assessed as moderate severity. This was announced on June 20 by the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev.

According to him, ambulance crews promptly arrived at the scene. The injured were taken to medical institutions, where they are receiving the necessary assistance.

"The condition of the victims is assessed as moderate. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the causes of the incident," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

In addition, law enforcement agencies in the region told TASS that there were no minors among those injured in the attack at the shopping center in Krasnodar. It is noted that among the victims are women aged 27, 38, 64 and 65, as well as a 55—year-old security guard.

The victim died from his injuries, and the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case.

The attack on the Krasnodar MFC occurred earlier that day. An attacker armed with a knife injured six people, one of whom later died. The suspect was detained. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case against the defendant.

Later, the mother of the child who was in the Krasnodar shopping center told the details about the attack. She noted that her daughter saw the attacker pouring some liquid and setting it on fire. Another woman who witnessed the incident added in a conversation with Izvestia that the tragedy began to develop at about 14:00 Moscow time and lasted about half an hour.
