Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, said on June 19 that during the COVID-19 pandemic, a mechanism was created to suppress alternative views, which later became used to limit independent thinking.
