On June 19, the Russian Ministry of Justice expanded the register of foreign agents to include three individuals and one organization.

According to a report published on the agency's website, the list includes journalist Peter Ruzavin, former deputy of the Tomsk City Duma Ksenia Fadeeva (listed in the register of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation), artist Ekaterina Kuznetsova, as well as the Sphere project.

According to the ministry, Ruzavin disseminated false information about the policy of the Russian authorities and opposed the conduct of a special military operation. In addition, the journalist called for support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and replicated materials from other foreign agents and undesirable organizations.

The agency filed similar claims against Ksenia Fadeeva and Ekaterina Kuznetsova. The Ministry of Justice clarified that both women live abroad, opposed their freedom and spread fakes about the decisions of government agencies of the Russian Federation.

The Sphere project was included in the list due to LGBT propaganda (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist and terrorist in the Russian Federation) and interaction with foreign agents. According to the Ministry of Justice, the organization's leadership is located outside of Russia, and the site itself was used to disseminate false information about the activities of the authorities and materials from undesirable organizations.

The last time the Russian Ministry of Justice expanded the list of persons recognized as foreign agents was on June 5. The co-chairman of the Golos movement for the protection of voters' rights (included in the register of foreign agents by the Russian Ministry of Justice) was recognized as a foreign agent Stanislav Andreychuk, journalists Mikhail Maglov and Vitaly Soldatskikh, as well as activist Tatiana Frolova.
