Rosstandart has approved a new GOST for indoor cleaning
Rosstandart has adopted GOST, which contains methodological recommendations for the organization of cleaning and operation of clean rooms, which will enter into force on July 1, 2026. This follows from the department's electronic database, which was reviewed by RIA Novosti on June 19.
"This standard is a guide for the organization of operational processes to ensure the effective functioning of clean rooms while meeting the requirements for sanitary cleanliness," the agency cites the contents of the document.
It is noted that the operational structure includes work with personnel, entry and exit regulations, sanitation procedures, maintenance and a control system. The cleaning work, according to the document, should be carried out in stages and include surface treatment, cleaning of key areas and equipment. It also emphasizes the need to check the compatibility of detergents and disinfectants with surface materials, and when preparing solutions, to observe the concentration and shelf life.
Cleaning methods are regulated separately: dry vacuum cleaning is allowed in hard-to-reach places, and small areas can be treated with wet wipes or alcohol-containing products. For wet processing, it is recommended to use two or three buckets of water, while the inventory must undergo preliminary chemical treatment.
On June 17, Rosstandart approved a new state standard (GOST) setting requirements for distance learning, which will become effective in November 2026. The document defines the requirements for educational materials used in online education. They should be easily accessible to students and at the same time protected from the point of view of copyright.
