The fifth-generation Russian fighter Su-57, belonging to the class of "invisible", proved its effectiveness during a special military operation. This was reported by TASS on June 16.

The secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, said that the Su-57 "performed brilliantly" during the special operation. His assessment was confirmed by Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation, noting that the aircraft demonstrated effectiveness in countering modern Western-made air defense systems, including Patriot, NASAMS and IRIS-T complexes.

In addition, as the agency points out, the Su-57 is capable of detecting objects hundreds of kilometers around itself, providing full visibility and control of airspace. The fighter is equipped with stealth technology and a modern on-board radar with an active phased array antenna and additional antennas distributed throughout the fuselage.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 5 that the Su-57 is the most modern aircraft in the world. He also pointed out the effectiveness of this fighter among its analogues. The Head of State recalled that Russia had previously offered India to participate in joint work on this project.

Also on June 2, Rostec said that the Su-57 multirole fighters are capable of controlling aerial combat, while remaining unnoticed by enemy radars. In addition, incoming aircraft demonstrate high efficiency in the combat zone.
