The Japanese company Konami, which is one of the world's leading developers and publishers of video games, has completely stopped servicing its online services in Russia and the Republic of Belarus (RB). This was reported on the organization's website.

"From <...> 06/15/2026 <...> we are discontinuing the service in Russia and Belarus," the statement said.

The measures, as specified, entered into force at 06:00 UTC (09:00 Moscow time), the restriction will not apply to other states. Konami thanked its Russian and Belarusian users for their "tremendous support", without which they would not have been able to achieve their success.

According to the DTF Internet resource, the games Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, eFootball, Yu-Gi-Oh are under restrictions! Duel Links and Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.

Konami announced its intention a month ago, on May 15th. The company did not name the reasons for this step.
