Lukashenko announces an early meeting with Putin

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has announced that he will hold a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the near future. This was reported by the BelTA news agency on June 15.

According to him, the purpose of the upcoming negotiations will be to solve urgent interstate problems.

"We have agreed that we will meet and discuss those problematic issues that may concern us," the President of Belarus said at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Lukashenko added that the heads of state continue to follow the established order of interaction, in which the most difficult issues are transferred to the highest level in the absence of solutions at the government level.
