In Samara, emergency workers continue to dismantle the rubble of a five-story apartment building on 22nd Party Congress Street, where a gas explosion occurred the day before. This was announced by the city administration on June 15.

"The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to sort through the rubble," the administration told the RIA Novosti news agency.

It is specified that the residents of the house refused temporary accommodation facilities and went to their relatives. After the debris removal is completed, the authorities intend to assess the technical condition of the building and determine the procedure for providing housing to the victims, the administration added.

The mayor of Samara, Ivan Noskov, spoke the day before about the consequences of a gas explosion and subsequent fire. A total of 24 apartments were damaged. Seven people were rescued from the building, three adults and two children were sent for medical examination.
