Colonel-General Alexander Chaiko has been appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed on June 10.
"In May 2026, by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, [Alexander Chaiko] was appointed Commander-in—Chief of the Aerospace Forces," the agency's website says.
