- There was a malfunction on the section of the green line of the Moscow metro due to a person on the tracks
A failure occurred on a section of the green line of the Moscow metro due to a fall of a man on the way. This was announced on June 8 by the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development.
"Traffic intervals have been temporarily increased on the southern section of the Zamoskvoretskaya line (2) due to a person on the way," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that traffic was completely stopped on the section from Alma-Atinskaya station to Orekhovo — four stops. Train travel intervals have been extended in the opposite direction.
About half an hour after the notification of the incident, the Moscow Department of Transport announced that traffic on the line was being restored and put on schedule.
Ilya Vasilchuk, a judicial lawyer and an expert on the security of electronic and property transactions, said on April 16 that the rules of conduct in the subway are regulated by regional regulations and internal documents of transport services, while a number of requirements are evaluative. He explained that responsibility for violations is provided for by regional legislation. In Moscow, for example, a fine may be imposed for violating the rules of using the metro, and in St. Petersburg, an administrative penalty in the prescribed amount.
