Military personnel of the radiation, chemical and biological protection units of the North group of forces have upgraded the ground-based robotic complex (NRTC), equipping it with a Bumblebee infantry flamethrower. This was announced on June 5 by a technical engineer with the call sign Mekhan.

"This development of the field workshop was created to support infantry and assault units performing tasks to expand the security buffer zone in the Kharkiv region," he explained in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Specialists have installed guides that ensure reliable fixation and allow thermobaric charges to be fired both simultaneously and in turn. In addition, it was possible to control the complex via a fiber-optic cable.

The upgraded robot is designed to destroy enemy strongholds and manpower hiding in dugouts. According to the soldier, the use of such equipment in the combat zone is becoming more widespread.

"During the expansion of the security buffer zone, in addition to the active promotion of assault units, various types of attack aerial drones are being used, and the number of cases of the use of NRTK in the combat zone is increasing," the military added.

On June 2, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a workshop for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the village of Katerinovka, Kharkiv region, using Geranium-type drones.
