Russian President Vladimir Putin should begin the process of negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine with the participation of Europe. This was announced on June 5 by German Foreign Minister Johann Vadefuhl.

"The conflict [in Ukraine] is at a stage where it urgently needs to be put to an end," the German NTV channel quoted him as saying.
