The Central Bank of the Russian Federation will issue 1 million commemorative coins "Chuvash Republic" with a face value of 10 rubles

On June 5, 2026, the Central Bank of Russia will issue a commemorative coin of the Russian Federation series dedicated to the Chuvash Republic. This was reported on June 4 in the press service of the regulator.

"On June 5, 2026, the Bank of Russia will issue a commemorative coin made of base metals with a face value of 10 rubles "Chuvash Republic" of the Russian Federation series (catalog number 5714-0116)," the Central Bank's website says.

It is noted that the coin has a combined design and consists of a disk and an outer ring. The diameter of the product is 27 mm. There is a protruding edge around the circumference of the front and back sides.

The obverse bears the inscriptions "Bank of Russia" and "2026", images of laurel and oak branches, as well as the denomination. Inside the number "0" there is a protective element in the form of the number "10" and the inscription "Rub". The trademark of the Moscow Mint is located at the bottom of the disc.

The reverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of the Chuvash Republic. The inscriptions "Russian Federation" and "Chuvash Republic" are placed on the outer ring, separated by dots. The side surface of the coin is grooved. The repeated inscription "Ten rubles" is marked on the edge, separated by stars.

The Central Bank clarified that the new commemorative coin will be a legal means of cash payment in Russia and is subject to mandatory acceptance at face value without any restrictions when making all types of payments.
