Ghalibaf threatened to break off negotiations with the United States and speak out against Israel

Tehran will not stand aside if the crimes against the Lebanese people do not stop. This was announced on June 2 by the Chairman of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

"If the Israeli aggression against Lebanon continues, we will not only stop the negotiation process, but also enter into a direct clash with the enemy," Ghalibaf wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to him, the Iranian side has been actively engaged in the issue of stopping the attacks for the past two days. Ghalibaf also confirmed his determination to achieve a complete ceasefire during a conversation with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
