"In total, according to preliminary data, about 2,100 tourists (both in Russia, waiting for a flight to Antalya, and in Turkey, waiting for a flight to Russia) faced the cancellation of Air Anka flights on May 26 and 27," the report says.

According to the relevant association, the clients of tour operators are provided with accommodation and meals at the expense of the companies while waiting for new flights. Some tourists are provided with replacement hotels for the duration of the delay, while others are extended their stay in the hotels where they spent their holidays. It is specified that the affected passengers are offered alternative flight options with a change of carrier and departure dates.

The ATOR press service stressed that tours with flights on board Air Anka were implemented in full accordance with the information available to the companies about the airline's permits. Currently, work is underway to distribute all tour participants on flights of other airlines.
