Graduates taking the Unified State Exam (USE) in 2026 were allowed to keep water, medicines and light meals on their desks, and calculators, rulers and dictionaries on some exams. This was stated on May 26 in a document published by Rosobrnadzor.

In addition to exam materials, a pen with black ink, an identity card and drafts issued in the classroom may be on the examiner's desk, RIA Novosti clarified. It is also allowed to keep medicines, snacks and a bottle of water. At the same time, the packaging of products and the process of their consumption should not interfere with other exam participants.

Additional accessories are provided for a number of items. On the Unified State Exam in biology, geography, and chemistry, you can use a non—programmable calculator, and on the math exam, you can use a ruler without background information. Physics students will be able to take both of these subjects with them.

Participants of the geography exam will be given an administrative map of Russia and a political map of the world along with control measuring materials. The chemical control measuring materials (CMM) include the periodic table of D.I. Mendeleev, the table of solubility of salts, acids and bases in water, as well as the electrochemical series of metal stresses.

Spelling dictionaries will be provided for students to take literature, but it is not recommended to use personal dictionaries. In computer science, students will be allocated computers with installed software. Listening and speaking equipment will be prepared in the classrooms for foreign language exams.

On May 17, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation reported that Russian universities have the right to award applicants up to 15 points for individual achievements, increasing their chances of enrollment. The ministry clarified that all achievements are divided into general and targeted ones.
