The expert reminded Russians about early payment of pensions in June

Some Russians will receive their June pension earlier than usual due to the celebration of Russia Day and the long weekend from June 12 to 14. This was announced on May 23 by RANEPA expert Tatiana Podolskaya.

"Due to the long weekend in early June, pensioners will receive early payments with the following planned dates for receiving pensions: June 12, 13, 14. These categories of citizens will be paid a pension up to and including the 11th," Podolskaya explained in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The expert clarified that such a rule is always applied when the pension payment date coincides with a holiday or a day off. In this case, the Social Fund of Russia transfers funds on the last working day before the holiday. Pensioners do not need to submit applications or additional documents — early transfer is made automatically.
