The RFU expects a full house at the Superfinal of the Russian Football Cup

The Russian Football Union (RFU) is expecting a full house and setting a new attendance record for the final matches of the Russian Cup at the meeting of Spartak Moscow and Krasnodar. This was announced on May 21 in the press service of the organization.

"The match is expected to be sold out and set a new attendance record for the finals of the Russian Cup. More than 90% of tickets have been sold. The commercial capacity of Luzhniki Stadium will be 73,000 spectators," the RFU said.

The organization clarified to RIA Novosti that additional batches of tickets will go on sale on May 21 and 22. Fans will be able to purchase them on the official RFU landing page and from the union's ticket partner.

At the moment, the most attended deciding match of the tournament remains the 2022 final. At that time, 69,306 spectators attended the game between Spartak and Dynamo Moscow, which ended 2-1 in favor of the Red and White.

On May 20, the RFU announced that the refereeing team, led by Inal Tanashev, was scheduled for the match of the Russian Football Cup superfinal. Rustam Mukhtarov and Adlan Khatuev will act as line referees in Tanashev's team. Evgeny Bulanov will play the role of the reserve referee. Video assistants Artur Fedorov and Sergey Tsyganok will be responsible for the video replay system (VAR).
