Drunk businessman's son caused a massive accident on a Mercedes in Nizhny Novgorod

The drunken son of businessman Sergey Kornilov in a Mercedes caused a massive accident at the Pokhvalinsky congress in Nizhny Novgorod. Izvestia learned about this on May 21.

Before the incident, Kornilov posted a video on his Telegram channel, in which he stated with a glass of wine in his hands that he had drunk a lot. At the same time, he responded rudely to user comments and humiliated people because of their financial condition.

Later, eyewitness footage of the accident began to appear on social media, showing deployed and dented cars, including Kornilov's smashed yellow Mercedes. Soon, he posted photos and videos of himself posing on the hood of a wrecked car.

"Majors don't die, <...> we <don't care about any accidents>. Let's buy a new one," he said.

Izvestia learned from open sources that Kornilov's father was the CEO of the Louis Group and died in 2024. His company is engaged in the creation of special equipment, metal products, as well as the sale and maintenance of machines.
