The Russian national team has announced the final squad for the friendly matches in May and June.

The coaching staff of the Russian national football team has decided on the squad for the summer series of friendly meetings. This was announced on May 18 by the press service of the Russian Football Union (RFU).

"The coaching staff of the Russian national team, led by Valery Karpin, named the players who received a call—up to the national team for the summer training camp. <...> The final list of the Russian national team included 32 players," the organization's website says.

Four goalkeepers have been entrusted with goalkeeping positions: Denis Adamov from Zenit, Anton Mitryushkin (Lokomotiv), Stanislav Agkatsev (Krasnodar) and Alexander Maksimenko (Spartak).

Alexander Silyanov, Evgeny Morozov (both from Lokomotiv), Ilya Vakhania, Viktor Melekhin (both from Rostov), Daniil Denisov (Spartak), Igor Diveev (Zenit), Maxim Osipenko (Dynamo), Kirill Danilov, Danil Krugovoy (both — CSKA Moscow) and Mingiyan Beveev (Baltika).

Artem Karpukas, Danil Prutsev, Alexey Batrakov (all from Lokomotiv), Matvey Kislyak, Ivan Oblyakov, Dmitry Barinov (all from CSKA), Nail Umyarov (Spartak), Amir Ibragimov (Manchester United), Anton and Alexey Miranchuk (Dynamo and Atlanta United), Maxim Glushenkov (Zenit), Maxim Petrov (Baltika), Lechi Sadulaev (Akhmat), Nikita Krivtsov (Krasnodar), as well as legionnaire Alexander Golovin from Monaco.

The forwards include Konstantin Tyukavin (Dynamo), Dmitry Vorobyov (Lokomotiv) and Georgy Melkadze (Akhmat).

For the first time since last year, our team will play away.

The RFU press service announced on April 27 that the Russian national football team will play Egypt, Burkina Faso and Trinidad and Tobago in late May and early June. The first game, according to the plan, will be held on May 28. On this day, Russian football players will play in Cairo with their Egyptian counterparts. The second one will be held on June 5 in Volgograd, where athletes from Burkina Faso will arrive, and the third one will be held on June 9 with representatives of the Trinidad and Tobago national team in Kaliningrad.
