The opposition Alternative for Germany (AfD) party intends to restore and launch the Nord Stream gas pipeline if it wins the upcoming elections in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This was reported on May 16 by Spiegel magazine with reference to the draft government program for political unification.
