Eight trains were delayed due to the closure of the Crimean Bridge
Eight passenger trains were delayed due to the suspension of traffic on the Crimean Bridge. This was reported on May 16 in the Telegram channel of the North Caucasian Railway (NCRR).
Traffic was blocked on the night of May 16. Starting at 02:25, trains in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Railways and from the Crimea were stopped for a period of 30 minutes to 3.5 hours.
"Today, on May 16, eight passenger trains were delayed due to the suspension of traffic on the Crimean Bridge," the report says.
The carrier's message clarifies that passengers whose trains will be delayed for more than four hours will be provided with food and bottled water.
Trains traveling to and from Crimea were also delayed on May 13 due to the closure of the Crimean Bridge. Two trains have been suspended from Crimea: from Simferopol to St. Petersburg for two hours, and from Sevastopol to Moscow for 1.5 hours.
