The United Russia Party ("ER") held a commemorative event "Victory Waltz" dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). The events took place on May 9 in two cities of the Moscow region — Krasnogorsk and Stupino.

The participants were members of the youth branch of the Young Guard party. In Krasnogorsk, in honor of Victory Day, more than 20 people danced a waltz in memory of the heroic deed of the Soviet people. Daniil Radinovsky, head of the local staff of the Young Guard, noted that the younger generation remembers the feat of their ancestors and is grateful to them.

"We dedicate [the campaign] to our ancestors. We remember their feat, we remember their courage, so we pay tribute and show that <...> thanks to their feat, today we are under a peaceful sky. <...> We remember, we are proud and we honor," he stressed.

Radinovsky added that the "Young Guard" does not forget the exploits of people who are committed in our time.

On May 8, United Russia organized a patriotic flash mob "Blue Handkerchief" in honor of Victory Day in Serpukhov, Moscow region. The event was attended by cadets of the local branch of the Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) named after Peter the Great. They performed a waltz to the songs of the war years. Among them, the famous composition "Blue Handkerchief", a symbol of the Great Patriotic War, was performed. An exhibition of military equipment was also held during the flash mob.
